1. Visit the old town and witness the living legacy of the history of San Diego. Guests stroll through the old city's historic buildings, including the forge, stables, Seeley and the oldest school in San Diego. Some visit the old town for shopping – Some very nice shops offer crafts. Others, like having a big plate of enchiladas and tacos washed down with the other Margarita searched within historic buildings, to imagine life in early California.

2. Visit La Jolla Cove and see magnificent sunsets over the ocean. La Jolla Cove is one of the most natural environments in the world with spectacular tide pools to explore at low tide. A trip to "la" Cave (Cave through the store) takes you through an artificial tunnel, down, down, until you enter the unusual and cutting Breath Sunny Jim Cave. You also can enter the Cave of the Sea (via kayak) and six caves excavated from the ocean, but Sunny Jim is the only sea cave in California that can access the stairs. Sunny Jim Cave is as cool as the Encyclopedia Americana called one of the "must" sites in southern California.

3. Visit downtown San Diego, Seaport Village for hours of free entertainment, walk and window shopping. Here you can explore more than 50 shops, 17 restaurants and unique entertainment outdoors and find everything under the sun. And four miles of roads lined with trees, you'll find all kinds of artists do their work. Bands, singers, dancers, magicians, whatever. There is something for any age, which has a seat, catch a show and sunbathing. Time of shows and hosts an average day. Make all the talent, where else, out – after all, you are in San Diego!

4. Take a cool day and relaxation (4,000 hectares larger!) Mission Bay Park Mission Bay in the vicinity. Many families pack the car and spend the day here. They bring bikes, scooters, folding camping chairs and picnic tables. On the way the park remember to pick up a takeaway pack … (Rubio recommend or Filiberto) and pack a cooler full of drinks and snacks. Bring the game of badminton, books, puzzles and Sudoku puzzles. It is an ideal place to relax or bike or walk along the sidewalks. Just find a good place in one of many trees, or sunbathe or sleep in the shade. On warm days to get a cool breeze of the bay and ocean. Oh, and you can bring your dog too. This is America's best city, out and enjoy!

5. Take your towel and Coppertone and access to one of the dozens of beaches in San Diego (all are free), swimming, jogging, boogie boards, reading a novel espionage, World Clock class surfers or just bake in the sun. Alcohol is prohibited in all San Diego beaches. Both South Mission Beach and Ocean Beach are full of beach volleyball. Ocean Beach has six courts and South Mission Beach has 15 courts.
