Kayaking in La Jolla, in February, what to wear?
This will be my first time to go kayaking. We will make a tour of the caves in La Jolla. Water is cold this time of year and Im not sure how we will get wet. What we plan the port? Im thinking maybe board shorts and a shirt-sleeve long or I'm away and should be much better prepared. The water temperature is about 60 and the temperature is supposed to be about 65 outside, but we're 9 hours. In fact, there a place to rent nearby Clothing, I just do not really know if thats a good idea. I kind of dislike the idea of bringing a wetsuit that tons of people have used?
You will need a paddle jacket – a jacket also works. Something to keep you dry and wind stuck on top. You can always remove if become too warm, but his miserable when you're cold. You get very wet and foggy, and the wind can you sound pretty cool, although its sunny outside. Boardshrts Use buttocks as wet, and either water shoes or sandals of any raincoat with a belt as Chaco or Teva. If you think you will be very cold, I go with sneakers. If you think you will get in the water a lot, then I would recommend a wetsuit, but I never had the need to use one – even in February. REI having a massive sale starting Friday, many things will be half so we recommend you check it. Have fun!
