LaJolla: the Beverly Hills of San Diego

With panoramic views over the sea, palm trees and a perfect climate, La Jolla, is like Hawaii without the five-hour flight.

This was twenty years ago and had just returned from our first experience with long distance travel an unforgettable experience, the trip opened my eyes to Hawaii, has exposed some soggy Pacific Northwest college students to sun and warm salt water did not even know existed. The next month was taken vacation in southern California when we got to La Jolla and has been as Yogi would say, d? seen again.

But there are two groups of people living temporarily in the village: the tenants and tourists. Gerard down just a little ways and seems to be very tempted to get out your credit card. Gerard is one of the two main streets of town. Also famous for shopping is Prospect Avenue, which also has many trendy shops and popular restaurants.
