With over forty miles of coastal beaches and a climate much less arrogant than Los Angeles, San Diego, the second largest city in California, can be an exceptional destination for tourists from California. There are several districts in San Diego that deserve crossing. Old Town is the city popular tourist center, home to most museums and theaters and shops, restaurants and pubs. Balboa Park is home to the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Air and Space Museum, the Museum of Man and the Old Globe Theatre. Gaslamp is a bohemian area where there are numerous art galleries, boutiques, cafes, corner, and over 90 restaurants. Little Italy is home to the best Italian cuisine in San Diego, and offers a magnificent view over the harbor. Kenningston is an ideal place for relaxation, and while there, you should take the time to visit the Landmark Ken Theater, a theater that plays classic movies. Mission Bay is the home to Sea World and is an ideal place for boating. Finally, for a day at the beach, the most popular are the Mission Beach, Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach.

San Diego is home to several museums, and each has its own appeal. However, for a classic experience of San Diego, to go out Plaza del Mar, a square all-in-one built into the landscape of the Pacific Ocean in mind. In the square, visitors can eat, visit a spa, drink, shop in large high-end stores, and even their clothes dry. San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Birch Aquarium and the best destinations for animal lovers. Monte Soledad is also a beautiful natural attraction and a great place for climbing and other outdoor activities.

Where to Cut Loose

San Diego is a ideal place for shopping and the city is covered with shopping malls and districts. Some notables include shopping centers, Seaport Village, University City, Horton Plaza, North County Fair, Plaza Bonita, Mission Valley Center, Fashion Valley, Grossmont Center and Plaza del Mar. You will not have trouble finding a good restaurant San Diego at affordable prices, if both Mission Beach and the Gaslamp Quarter has the best selection of fresh fish meals. The Gaslamp Quarter is home to the largest selection of dining establishments in the city. However, for Italian cuisine, will have to go to Little Italy. For most San Diego residents tend to spend more time in theaters and museums that do not drink, but when they leave the city, prefer the clubs and concert halls in bars and traditional pubs. Many of these establishments are grouped along the beaches, although the Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town and neighborhoods of the city is a vibrant way.
