I like hiking at Torrey Pines Reserve: it’s an easy hike, and it’s close to town.

Shopping: I like Seaport Village for walking around, Fashion Valley is where all the rich and beautiful people hang out (or so they say), Horton plaza is fun to walk around (colorful and wacky architecture), and UTC is your basic good shopping mall.

La Jolla Cove is a cool beach area. the cove itself is small and has gentle waves. the rest of La Jolla Cove is great for walking around and looking at the waves crash onto shore. You can walk all the way up to Children’s Beach, or you can go inland and visit the boutiques and cafes.
